Agri-food – Primary Production and Processing of Agricultural Products – Fisheries – Aquaculture – 2nd Call for Proposals

Submission Start Date: 03/08/2026

Submission End Date: 30/11/2026

Budget: €150 million (€75 million in tax exemptions & €75 million in grants, financial leasing, and employment cost subsidies)

Minimum Budget for Investment Plans:

Large Enterprises: €1,000,000, Medium Enterprises: €500,000, Small Enterprises: €250,000, Micro Enterprises: €100,000, Social Cooperative Enterprises (SCEs), Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs), Urban Cooperatives, Producer Groups (PGs), and Agricultural Corporate Partnerships (ACPs): €50,000, Sole Proprietorships (maximum eligible investment plan cost): €200,000

Maximum Aid Amount: €20,000,000.00

Aid Intensity: According to the Regional Aid Map

Eligible Expenses for Regional Aid (Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 651/2014):

a.Investment costs in tangible assets, specifically expenses for:

  1. Construction, expansion and modernization of building facilities
  2. Purchase of the total existing assets, such as buildings, machinery, and other equipment, for a business establishment that has closed down
  3. Purchase and installation of new, modern machinery and other equipment
  4. Leasing costs for new, modern machinery and other equipment
  5. Modernization of specialized facilities (excluding buildings and mechanical installations)
  6. Bulk milk coolers / milk cooling tanks (for milk processing and dairy production units)

b.Investment costs in intangible assets, specifically expenses for:

  1. Transfer of technology through the purchase of intellectual property rights, licenses, patents, know-how, and unpatented technical knowledge
  2. Quality assurance and control systems, certifications, as well as procurement and installation of software and business organization systems

c.Wage costs for new jobs created as a result of an initial investment and are calculated for two (2) years from the creation of each position

Eligible Expenses Outside Regional Aid:

  1. Costs for consultancy services in favor of SMEs
  2. Costs for energy efficiency measures
  3. Costs for the installation of efficient district heating and/or cooling systems
  4. Costs for SME participation in trade fairs
  5. Costs for investment aid to SMEs
